Installing security cameras is often a complicated and time-consuming task. It usually takes two or more men working together to ensure a CCTV camera or IP camera being correctly focused. At least one person is needed to adjust the camera lens while another is required to give proper instructions while checking the image on the monitor. The installation get’s even more complicated when it is performed outdoor with larger numbers of cameras.
Brickcom's innovative algorithm combined with the embedded beeper allows the installer to simply rely on his/her own hearing and hands to get the task done.
The main concept behind FocusEasy is similar to the car reverse radar. During the focusing operation the focus settings is being communicated to the installer by the buzzer. The further the image is from focus, the longer the intervals is between successive beeps. When the image gets closer to focus, the beeps goes faster. Once the image is focused, the buzzer makes a long beep for 3 seconds as notification.
The method simplify the camera installation by eliminating the need for checking the image on the monitor. The efficiency and precision makes FocusEasy a brilliant tool during the installation.
FocusEasy will be presented during ELFACK 2013 at ”The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre” in Gothenburg, May 13-17.
